The focus of the consultancy will be information security and data protection. It is estimated that the consultancy will benefit an information management organization with 8 to 10 people with a basic to intermediary level of information security/data protection knowledge. A training component will have to be built into the consultancy. Indeed, the technical expert will dedicate time to ensure relevant IMU staff/focal points have a suitable knowledge in these areas to ensure sustainability of the solutions designed as part of the consultancy.
The general objective of the consultancy is to implement best practice information security solutions within the organization and equip it with effective and efficient guidance and tools on data protection.
Expected deliverables
The Information Security Consultant will be responsible for:
– Developing and implementing a tailored, 2-week intensive (10 working days) information security consultancy covering:
o Gap assessment in current information security and data protection policies and procedures
o Risk Assessment
o Risk Remediation/Treatment Plans
o Policy Development
- Business Process Automation and Entity Management
- digital transformation and IoT platform development
- Europaid Procurement
o Staff Awareness Training
